Delete Individual Photos (Keep Your Account)

You can delete individual photos you've uploaded without deleting your entire account:

1. Open the PartySnap app or website
2. Navigate to the event containing the photo you want to delete
3. Find the photo in the event gallery
4. Tap or click on the photo to view it
5. Select the delete option (trash icon or delete button)
6. Confirm the deletion
7. The photo will be permanently removed from the event

Note: You can only delete photos that you uploaded. This allows you to manage your data without deleting your entire account.

Delete Your Entire Account

If you want to permanently delete your account and all associated data, you can do so using either the mobile app or the website:

What Data Gets Deleted

When you delete your account, the following data is permanently removed from our systems:

• Your Profile: Name, email address, profile photo, and account settings
• Your Photos: All photos you uploaded to any events
• Your Events: Events you created (including all associated photos from other users)
• Your Content: Guest messages, comments, likes, and all other interactions
• Event Participation: Your membership in events created by others
• Authentication Data: Login credentials and session tokens

Data Retention

We may retain certain data for the following reasons:

• Anonymized Analytics: We may retain anonymized, aggregated usage data (with no personal identifiers) for up to 30 days for analytics and service improvement purposes
• Legal Compliance: We may retain certain data if required by law or to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, or enforce our agreements
• Backup Systems: Data may persist in backup systems for up to 30 days before being permanently purged

No personally identifiable information is retained beyond the deletion process except where required by law.

Can't Access the App?

If you're unable to access the PartySnap mobile app to delete your account, you can request account deletion by contacting us:

We will process your deletion request within 7 business days and send you a confirmation email once completed.

Effects of Account Deletion

Please be aware of the following consequences before deleting your account:

• Events You Created: All events you created will be deleted, along with all photos uploaded by participants
• Shared Photos: Photos you uploaded to other people's events will be removed
• Access Loss: You will immediately lose access to all events, photos, and content
• No Recovery: Deleted data cannot be recovered. Please download any photos you want to keep before deleting your account
• Subscription Cancellation: Any active premium subscriptions will be cancelled (no refunds for unused time)

Download Your Data First

We recommend downloading your photos before deleting your account:

1. Open each event you participated in
2. Tap the three-dot menu in the top right
3. Select "Download All Photos"
4. Your photos will be saved to your device

Once your account is deleted, you will no longer be able to access or download these photos.
